Beth Ann and Bill’s love story began on July 20, 2022, when they were introduced by One on One Matchmaking and met for the very first time on a date. What was supposed to be a simple dinner turned into an evening that lasted until the restaurant closed! Neither of them was ready for the night to end, so they continued their conversation in nearby adirondack chairs, talking for hours under the stars. As Beth Ann would say, “It was truly a fabulous first date.”

Bill’s affection and care were unlike anything Beth Ann had ever experienced – and it scared her. Unsure if she was ready to be loved so deeply, she made the difficult decision to step away. But Bill wasn’t ready to give up. He still found himself reaching out every so often, hoping that one day his messages might reach her.

That persistence paid off nearly a year later when one of his texts finally went through. Bill remembers thinking, “Oh, what do I do now!” To his surprise, Beth Ann replied within minutes, and just like that, the door to their love story opened once again.

A few weeks later, Beth Ann reached out with an invitation to dinner after a hair appointment in Buckhead. They met at Nobu on September 19th, and what began as a simple catch-up turned into the start of something far greater. Their connection rekindled, and as they said goodnight, both knew they wanted to see each other again soon.

From that dinner forward, everything fell into place. Exactly one year later, they returned to Nobu, this time with their children gathered around the table. During dessert, Bill got down on one knee and proposed with a beautiful speech that Beth Ann joyfully said yes to.

Now, almost exactly a year later, Beth Ann and Bill are ready to begin their next chapter as husband and wife – surrounded by family, friends, and the love that brought them back to each other. Wishing them endless joy, laughter, and a lifetime of happiness together!
