Where to Meet Single Women in Atlanta

October 7, 2017

Are you a single guy in Atlanta who wants to meet single women offline? If you want to use more traditional methods, we’ve got some good news: Single women are everywhere in our city; and, in most cases, they’re hoping you’ll approach them and strike up a conversation. A normal, non-creepy conversation, that is – and, believe it or not, that’s the hardest part!

As a matchmaker and veteran of the dating industry, let me share some activities and places where we know they can be found:

Local sporting events.

Single women like to go to them; and, since they’re likely going with friends, bring some wingmen of your own. But be creative! For instance, when you go to a Braves game, instead of buying tickets, watch it from a fun restaurant at The Battery. That’s

Single women like to go to them; and, since they’re likely going with friends, bring some wingmen of your own. But be creative! For instance, when you go to a Braves game, instead of buying tickets, watch it from a fun restaurant at The Battery. That’s the a terrific new development adjacent to SunTrust Park offering an array of restaurants and shops. On game days, the streets are filled with people – so, before picking a restaurant or bar, run a reconnaissance mission to figure out which spot seems like the best place to watch it. Then, as if we have to tell you this, find a seat next to a group of cute girls and pour on the charm.

If soccer is more your jam, tailgating at an Atlanta United Game can be a blast. Atlanta Sports and Social Club hosts an all-inclusive party that attracts people of all ages. Buy one ticket for food, beer and wine, and all your favorite tailgate games – just grab a friend and challenge two attractive girls to play corn hole with!

The nightlife.

In Atlanta, try exploring the variety of hot spots in different parts of town where single women hang out – and, trust me, sitting at the bar is key. That’s where the women and their friends will most likely be or end up after their meal. Here are a few suggestions, separated by age range, so you can more easily find the ladies you want to attract.

If you’re in your 20s-30s.

Check out Barcelona Wine Bar in Inman Park on a Friday or Saturday night, and Ladybird Mess Hall is a good daytime spot on the weekends. The Ivy’s patio is a chill spot to meet someone or even go up to the deck on the top floor. During summer weekends, call your buddies and see which neighborhood pool is poppin’. But beware, if you decide – against our advice – to hit up busy bars like Five Paces and Park Bench in Buckhead instead, you’re likely going to struggle to meet someone of substance and quality.

If you’re in your late 30s-40s.

Try going to Yebo Beach Haus or the Southern Gentleman. These Buckhead restaurants call for upscale casual attire, so throw on a nice pair of dark jeans, brown leather shoes, and a button-down shirt. Then maybe buy the pretty girl and her friend a glass of rosé.

If you’re in your late 40s-60s.

The bars at Houston’s, Hals, and the St. Regis are usually alive with eligible women. Since more mature singles aren’t usually part of the late-night crowd, we recommend Alive after Five in Roswell. It’s on the third Thursday of the month from 5:00-9:00 p.m. from May-October; and you can shop, dine, and listen to live music. If you’re in or near Alpharetta, why not enjoy wonderful concerts held at the Plaza at Avalon Night’s Live every Friday evening from 6-8?
