Ladies, keep it simple and stay with your own sense of style that makes you feel the most confident. Don’t try to find a brand new outfit or something you’ve never worn before if it will make you feel more anxious or nervous prior to the date itself. 
A cute statement top with great fitting jeans and a pair of sexy heels is a good go-to outfit for a first date; however, always choose appropriate footwear for where you’re going and what you’ll be doing! In terms of make-up, go for casual, but pretty. Sometimes, natural lips and eyes are a better way to go than something more bold and dark.
Also, remember that simple, feminine accessories always win!
Advice for Men on What to Wear on a First Date
Men, it is important to remember to pay attention to the smaller details that end up making a huge statement such as ironing or lint rolling clothes before a first date. Your outfit should not be too big where you’re swimming in it, but it should not be too small that it’s uncomfortable. 
Go for a nice, tailored shirt with straight leg jeans and loafers if you’re looking for a classic look. If you’re looking for something else to wear, a crisp white button down with rolled up sleeves is always a good idea. You can never go wrong with a nice watch too!
